Summary:

We are looking for an advanced and experienced front end developer who is responsible for tailoring user experience, bringing a designer’s concept to life with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, production/modification/maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces, creating tools that enhance how users see and interact with our customer’s website in any browser, implementing responsive design for mobile sites, consulting on SEO best practices, testing the site using linting tools during development for usability and fixing any bugs. Should be creative and have thoughts from the UI/UX perspective as well. Any exposure to eCommerce Application development will be a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert Photoshop/Adobe XD designs/other UI-UX tool designs to browser readable format(HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery)

• Develop responsive web page design with creative design ideas

• Testing the design of the website in different browsers and devices

• Fix design bug & optimize front-end code of existing developed website

• Improve existing web pages with latest design trends & cutting-edge technologies

• Make front-end design compatible with Odoo website's architecture

• Develop SEO friendly front-end design for our customer’s websites

• Always be updated/creative towards of current design trends

• Always be ready to share creative ideas with manager

• Make sure to follow the prescribed coding and development best practices to give high-quality output as per the requirement

• Ability to work in agile project methodology

• Build high-quality mockups and design different sketches, wire-frames & prototypes

• Must possess a strong learning curve and should be willing to keep themselves abreast and continuously updating their job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art design tools, modern technical concepts for personal up-scaling and in turn meeting organisational needs as well

• Optimising website speed and scalability with web concepts

• Building reusable code for future use

Required Skills

• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques

• Understanding of SEO principles.

• Must have good technical knowledge of HTML5, CSS, SCSS, LESS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap

• Must have good sense of UI/UX

• Must have knowledge about cross-browser compatibility issues

• Keen to think about attractive front-end design(creativity)

• Observation skill for pixel perfect design development

• Having strong knowledge in Object Oriented CSS principles

• Must have code optimisation skills in MVC framework based applications and proactively look for ways to make the architecture, code, and operations better

• Must have experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies

• Readiness to learn a new language and frameworks

• Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision

• Excellent knowledge of version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket, etc including branching and merging

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in eCommerce applications development

• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix development environment

• Experience to work with famous platforms like WordPress, Magento, Shopify, Laravel would be huge advantage
